Hell, I'd be happy to see music of ANY type on MTV again, besides rap that is.

I discovered a couple of great bands from "Headbanger's Ball" back in the day, most notably "Masters Of Reality." I have no clue what happenned to them, but they were awesome.

If they ever did bring it back, I think PanterA (the moderator, not the band) should host it.

OF COURSE I'm with your Rev. You probably just saw a piece of that Hedbanger's Ball special on MTV I saw too. I just don't want it to be the same PUSSY ball is was right before it went under.

What I mean is, keep it Heavy and METAL! NOT Alternative bands in between actual Metal. THAT'S what killed the last show.
And We Don't NEED Ricky back as host, but I'll take him if it means the Ball again.

ALSO: MTV2 is a crock of shit! They pushed the music off MTV, then made us all need to get MTV2 just to see videos? FUCK YOU MTV! And Carson Daily is a CUM GUZZLER!

and Saturday on MTV2 at 8-10 is the rock countdown

Bring back 120 Minutes too, I miss seeing some of the more unique alternative groups out there.

And while you're at it, have MTV bring back Beavis & Butthead reruns.

And the State.

And The Maxx.

You know, just about any rerun of their old "We're not playing videos" programming is better than their current "We're not playing videos" programming. I'd rather watch an old episode of B&B than the 18th showing of the day of "The Real World" .

Hell, if the same company that owns MTV didnt own just about everything some other enterprising corporation could try and compete with their own, all rock,metal ect. station.....and concentrate on music innovation and not pop culture. <P>

MTV hasn't had a specialty music video show since 120 Minutes in 2000. Before that you had Yo, MTV Raps, Alternative Nation, Indie Outing, 120 Minutes of course and AMP ( a program showcasing the latest in electronic music). It was a great time, something for everyone, but that's long gone now. So if they bring back Headbanger's Ball how would it fit between all the game shows, award programs and Cribs!? The only show focusing on rock music they have is the one hosted by those two brothers from Good Charlotte which isn't completely horrible but i don't set a time to actually watch it. Bringing back the ball may be wishful thinking but the way they ended that retrospective special it seems as if they left that whole
