Lately Ive been missing peopel from my past.
Alot of friends who Ive lost touch with, ex's, families
members that moved away.

Its just like out of nowhere I miss people.
How does his happen?

I think about people I left behind all the time. But I made the right descions, and am stronger because of it. Maybe you think that leaving some of those people was a bad idea, or a mistake.

you know whats weird? when you talk to someone online for a while, then one day you dont talk, then it becomes a week, then a month. they are always on, you just realized you have nothing to talk to them about, then you start to think, its just too long to start up a convo with them, then they just become fodder for your buddy list.

I think MOE said it nicely. On some level you feel that neglecting certain friendships or allowing them to lapse may have been a bad idea, or a mistake.

If you haven't spoken to someone in a while and you find yourself thinking a lot about them, why not give them a call or an e-mail. Doesn't have to be deep and you don't have to put yourself in a position of getting hurt. A quick note like, "I was thinking of you the other day and wanted to say hi and see how you were doing." If there's a response you know the friendship may be able to slowly be resumed.

Basically, you miss people when something reminds you of them. It may not be an obvious association. You may see an apple and think of your cousin who ate an apple last time you saw her. (You won't know that's the association- but it's a good example). If you go to a park where you always used to go with a certain friend, chances are you'll think of the friend.
