i think i called in with this once...if any real RnF nuts remember, let me know...

Stone Temple Pilots and the Butthole Surfers, Sunday August 1st, 1993. It was at Sun Tan Lake, 106 Rt 23N in Riverdale, NJ. Sun Tan Lake has since disappeared, but the memory hasn't. It was an outdoor concert with about 3,000-4,000 there. It was the BEST! STP was incredible. Mosh pits opened up everywhere randomly. People were taking blankets, putting poeple on them and throwing them in the air. But one poor son of a bitch got thrown up, and wasn't caught. I heard he dislocated his leg. The ambulance came in the middle of STP's set. It was the first time I ever heard a rock star ramble for a half an hour. I got flashed for the first time by a gorgeous girl, and saw the most beautiful twins you'd ever see grinding each other. Those two girls were awsome.

Last thing I'd expect here is to find a W.A.S.P. fan, but whatever floats your boat.

I just saw the Jesus Lizard a couple of weeks ago, and it's a strong contender for the best concert I've ever seen. David Yow is almost 50, and he's still a fucking maniac.

They do put on an awesome show
you should check out Scatch Acid's album The Greatest Gift, if you have not heard it yet, A great album and some of Yow's earlier work
