Ever Notice?

Tonight I caught myself doingthis and realized how I see alot of people do this. When somone approcahes you who doesn't speak english and your trying to tell them something ever notice that you try talking to them in little words or trying to use sign language or even worse raise your voice and you notice your shouting...not in an upset shouting but like your shouting to a friend across the street way.
you know what I mean?
I was tryingto tell the chinese delivery man that he had the wrong hotel and he spoke no english... and I said "THIS IS NOT THE ADDRESS OF YOUR DELIVERY YOUR ON THE WRONG BLOCK WRONG BLOCK" and the poor guy looks at me like this address...you know what I mean

what i dont like is when your ordering food or something from some place or something and they take you order and as their cooking the food right in front of you their talking to eachother in some other language and u dont know what their saying. For all i know they could be saying "hey look at this stupid slob he has no idea i just called him that hahaha".

I notice that SB and have been gulity of it. It's almost like I'm talking to a kid. I feel very bad after I do it and I try not to. It's not like it's going to help them understand...oh well.

I try to talk more slowly and clearly. I don't think it's being condescending, I think it's just helpful to someone who is learning the language.

If you took a foreign language in high school, you might remember how difficult it was to understand the teacher when he or she said something really fast.

My father's side of my family speaks Arabic. So when my mother trys to talk to one of them, I hear her start to speak as though she was speaking English with an Arabic accent! HA! What they fuck does she think? That badly spoken English will be easier for them to understand.

I talk to them like I would anyone, and if they miss it, too bad. Oh wait, I don't talk to them....

I get around all that.
When someone who doesn't speak english comes up to me to talk, they run away immediately.
Ya see, while you drop the bullets into the gun one by one, keep a big smile on your face and hum a childrens tune.
It really cuts through all that confusion. Problem solved.

I use to have a Koeran Aunt and whenever I talked to her on the phone I would always say "yep...yeah...uhuh....oh i know" and not even realizing what she was saying.
