Once upon a time, I was a long suffering Wingnut who had to endure one miserable season after another. Slowly the Wings took flight and I witnessed their rise to power, and to see them capture Hockey's Holy Grail for the 3rd time in the past 6 seasons made me a happy man indeed. It's a great feeling for a fan when your loyalty pays off, and I'm glad I stuck by my beloved Red Wings lo these many years.

Thank you Steve Yzerman (Greatest Captain Ever), Scotty Bowman (Greatest Coach Ever), Nicklas Lidstrom (Greatest Defenseman Ever), and all of the Detroit Red Wings (Greatest Team Ever) for such a memorable playoff season and Stanley Cup Championship.

Yeah the wings deserved it , but did anyone hear the sad news at the stanley cup celebration about scotty bowmen retiring? that really sucks hes the best coach probably ever. I think the Dominator is going back to the the Czech Republic too which yet again is really sad.
