i hate them so much and i hate that i have to use them even though i really dont want to. i wanted to get tickets for a show this morning - the internet presale started today at 9. so promptly at 9, i get to the page where the tickets are on sale, put in what i want, and they say that they cant fulfil my specific request. WHAT THE FUCK?!? how can you not have 2 tickets for something that went onsale (presale, no less) not 30 seconds ago? fucking cocksuckers. i swear if i dont maim anyone today it'll be a fucking miracle

christ they're probibly sold out already. i go to the wiz to get my tickets (no credit card so no internet sale) i didnt bother going to get these though, i am a big weezer fan (obviously) but im sure getting tickets is just a cluster fuck, and ticket BASTARD just jerks you around even more. im gonna wait for a friend who gets me tix to things, i never ask how he gets them at such good deals though ;)

I bought my Weezer tix for the PNC Bank arts center yesterday.

I used their presale link, which brings up tickmaster with a fucking ArtistsDirect.com thing on the top. Well, AD's fucking frame fucks up the cookies so I can't look up or buy tickets. So I had to waste time going to ticketmaster.com, searching weezer, going to the page, logging in again and all this other shit. The show should be worth it, tho'

I think Pearl Jams big problem with that whole situation is two-fold. One, it was years too soon for a lawsuit like that. Two, no court rules against a corporation anymore...if the government wont prevent these conglomerations, who will??? I bought tickets for wrestling off ticketmaster a few months ago, they never mailed them to me. Had to call up and the lady yelled at me and hung up because I didn't call within 48 hours of the event.

Then when I did call at the correct time it took forever to get to the right person and I ended up having to pickup my tickets at the FleetCenter box office.


Hey I just checked my recent order for Smackdown! tickets and they were printed on the 12th! Praise jesus!

Ticketmaster is total bullshit. I try to get tickets at the box office, at the gate or through tickets.com if at all possible. I got my tickets for the Olympics through tickets.com and had absolutely no problem.
If anyone's interested, I just checked tickets.com a few minutes ago and they had tickets for Weezer in Hartford, CT on July 20.

I tried getting tickets this morning too. The same thing happened to me. I was there right at 9:00 too! There better be tix left during the regular sale on Saturday.

You also forgot to mention the service fee, handling fee, printing fee, shipping fee, the just because we can charge you again fee, etc... Sometimes all of that extra crap puts an extra $10-$15 on the price of each ticket!

So I call them up this morning to ask where the fuck my tickets are (Smackdown! is tommorow and I ordered them on the 14th of June).

So I talk to some dude, he pust me on hold for ten minutes and I get this chick, I give her my confirmation code and billing address and she says I can't confirm the order and my mother (it's her card) has to call by 6pm today or they cancel my order!

So now I have to call my mother at work to deal with these assholes.

Last time I never got my tickets and they let me set it up so I could pick them up at the arena.

Now I'm just waiting for my mom to call back just hoping she did it right.
