Favorite Beer or New Beer

I know that a lot of you like to drink...and that a lot of you like good beer.
So with this thread I just wanted to see what kinds of beer you people are drinking... and what is your favorite beer...
Also, what beer have you recently tried that you think might become your favorite.

Unfortunately, I've noticed that from bar to bar, many beers have inconsistant tastes...generally I'll be with Budweiser in hand, as you always know what you're getting...

Yeah, I know it's no microbrew or anything, but fuck it, I'm happy.

Rich, you might be happy to know that my favorite type of beer is the English "Real Ale" style, called cask beer here. It doesn't have the same carbonation as most beers do, so it can't be put through regular drafts, but through special ones that literally pump the beer out. It's so smooth and so good. A few places in the city have it - DBA, Gingerman spring to mind.

Aside from that, I don't really have a particular loyalty to one brand or another, depends on what I feel like having.

i dont really like beer, i mean its basically bread mix
in water (grain and yeast), then let it go bad, then
enjoy? eh. i preifer smirnov ice spiked with black
haus. yes i reognize this is a pussy beverage, and i
have aptly named it the pussy fart. (smirnov ice
gives you whicked next day gass). but if beer is
the only thing available, my fav is a house draft at
this resuraunt about 4 blocks from times sq.
