Then that would make it 12 straight hours of increases in the ratings.
Don and Mike today said that their monthly # is up from a .8 to a 1.1 and while not a great number it is one that increased nonetheless. It should also be noted that the ratings are pre-battle between the shows

The ratings for Ron and Fez on WJFK are counted in the sports junkies book from 7-12. I believe that midnight is considered the end of the advertising day and thus the numbers only count for Ron and Fez from 11-12 which in itself is not an accurate measure since the book also has the four hours of the junkies involved

And secondly it is good that R&F numbers are up in N.Y. but what does that really mean to the D.C. listeners. Nothing. I was merely saying that the books from 11-11 are up across the board at WNEW. And i realize this is a ron and fez site but i have seen many topics that have nothing to do with Ron and Fez and there are plenty of threads dealing with both Don and Mike and Opie and Anthony so dont preach to me about what kind of site this is

I'm sure there will be many changes at WNEW in the near future, and yes, I think Don and Mike will be gone.
Ron and Fez have been getting moved around so much that they never had the chance to build a solid audience, now that seems to be changing.
The station has something to build on, let's hope they do it right.
Oh, and why were Opie and Anthony mentioned in this original thread? They are friends of the show and are a tremendous lead in to Ron and Fez. Don and Mike are insignificant.

The show, like O&A, has been doing well due to "word of mouth". WNEW does NOTHING to promote it's shows, NOTHING.
Imagine if WNEW spent some money with an ad campaign? TV spots, subway and bus posters, anything! WABC plastered "Curtis and Kuby's" faces everywhere, along with TV spots featuring Rush and Hannity.
People STILL think WNEW is a music station. The station needs to promote it's talk format, and to make a few changes with it's on air talent. It's up to management now.

My Film and Media teacher talked to me before class one day and noticed my WOW sticker and saw the WNEW mention. He was like isn't it still a rock station? I was like its all talk. He had no f'n idea and he knows everything about tv, movies and radio. He used to be a religious follower of WNEW too. WIERD!
