This weekend was a little tough I had to go to a funeral and it sucked, but i felt so out of it there cause it made me realize life is a circle and we are here only for a short time, and with my neice gone to florida for a while, i just have that not loved feeling, I think its normal, i guess a chemical imbalance of some sort, but it just sucks cause then it carries into my entire day and effects my work and my home life. but is it normal for people to feel this way?

i get that feeling, and no matter what people say to me it doesn't go away for awhile, sometimes it can last for a couple of weeks...

Sounds like you have been through 2 losses - the death of someone you knew, and your neice leaving for Florida. Your feelings are normal. Things will get better. Life is full of ups and downs.

sexy, I think we all have our times that we just feel bad and don't feel loved..

but it also makes us appreciate the better times more..

Just think of when your niece will be back.. and you can give her a big hug again.

You are not alone in how you feel. I think everyone goes through it at least once in their lifetime if not more. The best way to get through it is realizing that it will get better and that you are loved, if not by no one around you, then yourself.

Can you really love another, before loving yourself?

SEXY - Step back for a moment. You had a crappy day starting off with a funeral. That put you into an introspective frame of mind and not surprisingly you thought of the transient nature of all life.

Everyone goes through periods of greater and lesser happiness and sadness.

Chances are you do not have a chemical imbalance. The feelings you're experiencing are a normal part of life.
