Is there any better feeling in the world than starting a new relationship and finding a love letter in your email or snail mail box?

I was going through some stuff and found some things that brought a smile to my face. It's just been one of those weeks.

i agree.. it's a great thing. i had one boy give me a letter most days for months while we were dating. and after we broke up, he gave me an entire book of poetry that he had written for/about me. everytime i read it, my heart just melts

I like to do it the old fashioned way I write them via us mail and mail them, and i bought a wax seal a few months ago (thanks for the addresses on those to the board) and i have it ready to write, now i just write friends that way its more personal, but no one to write a love letter to

I LOVE THEM! I save all of mine too. The best is when there is no occasion and they get you one of those cheezy greetings cards. I don't know why I like them so much. I likee writing letters too. (I try to do it often but sometimes the letters never get there *wink) Anyway, that is such a great feeling to know they took the time out to sit down and tell you how they feel. :)

this is a funny one, when i was still @ suny albany, i
went to visit my best freind up at plattsburgh
(where i am going in the fall). i met the most
amazing girl, right down the hall from him. she
walked in the room and i was hearing bells and shit.
any who, i got so drunk that night that i didn't get a
chance to stop by and see her again the next
morning, i needed to pound it back to school to take
an exam. long story short i wrote her a letter, b/c i
remembered her dorm room adress. she read it,
comented on it to my freind, how sweet it was and
all. THEN she never calls, emials or IMs me. wtf???
when i went back up to visit she like ran away from
me. then got all huffy with my freind and asked
why i didn't come see her. so love letters can back
fire!! (actually it was more of a, sorry i didn't get a
chance to come see you again, letter.)

I've managed to save a lot of the love letters I've been sent, emailed & handwritten. They're great b/c if you're dating a macho guy, you get all the stuff he'd never say written down permanently! Even the most icy guys open up when they write....great, now I hafta raid the box with all my personal things in it and take a sweet walk down memory lane. :)
