why does the "good" guy usually remain alone

Alright, first off, i might as well say, I may be one of the youngest members of this board, but still i have problems. Almost every girl i meet says something on the line off, ""Oh, (toddevf>, you are such a nice guy," or, "<toddevf>, your a real good guy." And it ends up that they say this and it makes me feel secure. but next thing i know, they find some real asshole and sleep with them. Hell, i don't care if i'm getting laid or not, as long as I have someone that loves me. Well, for years this issue has been eating away at me, and i can't understand why they would say one thing, and do another. It is blasphimy! sure i may have to wait about 6 months to buy smokes legally. That shit eats me up inside, how a chick says one thing and it seems as if she wants you to going out with a total asshole. its fucked up ain't it?

well, for those who don't know, I am a lowly 17 year old.

but anywho. . . in my high school its all the friggin freshman getting pregnant right now and its odd that they believe acceptance is in "doing the deed". I have gotten ass once, that was about. . . oh. . . 1 year and nine months ago. but thats besides the point. they mess around, get pregnant and/or STDs and then i sit alone with my trusty bag o' adult material. At the rate i'm going, i'll probably be one of the few without an STD when the world collapses on itself. Nootchie Nootchies, Brodieman, DC Reed ,and AJin DC.

Some girls want a challenge. They don't want to go for the sure thing, aka the nice guy. They want to take these asshole guys and maybe try and change them. Also it might be the whole "bad boy" mystique. The guy they aren't sure about, and it intrigues them. That has been my experience as a nice guy. Just my 2 cents.

My guess to "why women say one thing and do another" is because most women are brought up to be very "non agressive". They, a lot of times, don't express what they really feel because they are afraid of any unwanted response in return so they "fudge things or lie". They take the passive-aggressive route - meaning that if they want to tell guys something that they know is distatesful and will cause a backlash - they will do it in a very non-agressive way, and it usually involves lies.

Women like a confident man...not one who's willing to bend over backwards for them. I know in your mind you think you're being a gentleman, but in the strange place that is a woman's thought center, you're a pushover.

You don't have to be a cocky loud mouth, just someone who has complete confidence in himself and what he wants.

This used to happen to me a lot in high school. I had TONS of female friends. I still have quite a few. I love them dearly. I can't get them to sleep with me unless I have a roofie in my pocket.

What you gotta do is spend some time in the seedier sections of your city. Hang out at some of the nastier nightclubs or bars. Eventually you'll find the depressed chick, the cutter, the addicted-to-painkillers girl....And bam, you'll get more tail than you know what to do with. Of course, you may be required to buy drugs for them, or, you know, talk them out of a suicide attempt, but if you're willing to have some lower standards, you can get all the sex you want.

I've found this works a LOT with goth chicks.
