I'm sure you can go to CCD next year and just do the same process again. It is true that you can't be married in the Catholic Church without having first recieved the Sacraments of Initiation. If for whatever reason you don't want to get it now, you can go through a program for adults.

If none of those work for you, email me. I'll help you work something out.

Quick question - do both parties have to be confirmed catholic to be married in the catholic church (I'm taking the classes, my boyfriend is baptized catholic but no communion or confirmation)

As long as one is a catholic and both agree to raise the children catholic the church allows it.

And the church offers many classes for adults to take inorder to get confirmed. Jess(Zathrus) took them last year and recieved Baptism,Confirmation, And first communion all in the same night.

The Easter Vigil is the night that adults join the church. They receive all the sacraments of initiation in one night.

Fatty, I don't know if they were
having a sale or not. But it was a
very long day. We had to go that
morning for practice and then
return that night for the
ceremony.

i wasted my time getting conformed, my "bible buddy" was a complete fag who has no life, never will and has no purpose to live anymore no matter how much he believes he turned himself around.

Oh yeah, Im tired and pissed, so thats why Ive had some angry angry posts recently.

Talk to your Parish priest about when the next classes are for getting confirmed. I am sure he will be happy to help you.

MCNABB - You wrote "my friends told me if Im catholic and i dont make my conformation i cant get married."

That's an overstatement by several magnitudes. You can marry whether or not youre confirmed, religious, spiritual or an atheist like me. If you want a religious wedding, you may have to shop around for a priest but for a fee, you'll usually be able to find religious figures willing to do anything. (Which may come in handy should you ever want to get a divorce, oops, I mean an annulment. A friend who recently went throught the process so she could marry agian tells me the going bribe now for an annulment is about $2,000.)
