i liked storm of the century. the worst stephen king movie has to be the Langoliers. I liked it when i was a young lad but i watched it the the other day after not having seen it for a few years and i realized what a horrible movie it was. ba acting and dialouge. the blind girl annoyed me.

Best was Shawshank. That's a fantastic movie.

The actual theatrical release movies generally fair much better than his TV work. You get a solid range of movies that are usually good if not great (Shawshank, Green Mile, Misery, etc.).

Most of his TV movies blow, though. The only one of them that I thought was any good was "It", and that's simply because the great Tim Curry plays the most evil fucking clown this side of Gacy.

I'll say Shawshank only because King hated what Kubric(?) did with The Shining, and was more Stanley's work, not Stephen's.

Yeah, they remade the Shining a few years ago as a TV miniseries. And hey, it sucked.

King may have hated Kubrick's movie, but I thought it was great.
