Is it Cheating?

This question has come up twice in one week already so I thought I would make it official and ask the board.

Is it still cheating if your significant other is in another country? How about another state?


I think it is. If you are committed to someone, the committment doesn't get temporarily anulled cause the other person is in another time zone. I am also a romantic so my answer was, yes it is cause even though physically they are not near you, they should be close to your heart so really, they are not that far at all.

I think the general rule of thumb is if there are oceans between you, its not cheating.

That depends on how long they are gone. If their on Vacation for a week or two and you do hook up yeah that would be cheating. But if they have to live out there for more then a month.......Who knows.
