Okay, so I'm up at 1:30 in the
morning and I flip on HBO. Some
crazy movie is on with a skinny
British guy playing a bellboy in a
hotel. After about 20 minutes I
figure out it's basically about his
horrible journey to survive
running a hotel alone on New
Year's Eve. It is uniquely shot
and has a few surprising
appearances, like Bruce Willis,
Antonio Banderez, and some lady
from I think Friends. Anyhow, I
am now glued to this movie
because it's fucking hilarious.
This guy is totally hating his job
and everyone is doing everything
they can to drive him nuts. So,
I'll cut to the chase... 3 o'clock
rolls around and the movie comes
to a close... BUT, as the credits
start rolling, I hear a familiar tune
that makes me think I've been
listening to too much Ron & Fez
lately. This movie closes to the
same song R&F close to every
night. FINALLY, I have found the
Tarrentino movie that originated
this song! (BTW, the name of the
movie is 'Four Rooms'.) So, I
waited for the end of the credits
where the music is listed and
jotted down what I saw, did a
little searching on Google, and
got the name of the song. SO,
for anyone who was curious the
first time I listed a similar post
ASKING for the song title, here it
is:

It's called "Vertigogo (Closing
Credits)".

Of course I would never endorse
the illegal downloading of
licensed music (::snicker::) But,
make sure you get the Closing
Credits version, because the
movie apparently also opens to
this song, but it's a slightly
different not-so-good version.
Punching out at 3:25 in the
morning... Enjoy.
SSEEUUHH!!!!!

Search the board, SEARRRRRRCH THE BOARD...answers such as these are all over the place. The theme is actually by Combustible Edison, and is indeed from the film "Four Rooms". It is included in its entirety on both the soundtrack to the god-AWFUL "Four Rooms" soundtrack and a 1997 compilation called "The Tarantino Connection". This comp basically just has a bunch of cool songs and themes from various films QT had made or been involved in. With these albums, there's no need to search for an "opening or closing credit" version.

A little infor on "Four Rooms", as I know it, the film that destroyed the indie film "boom" of the late 80's and early 90's. It came out in '95, and is divided into four different segments, each directed by a different "indie" director, Allison Anders, Alexandre Rockwell, Robert Rodriquez and Quentin Tarantino. The movie is a mess, only the last two segments are watchable, and those even just barely. Watch it at your own risk.

Staying up late and watching four rooms must have bugged you out enough for you to be totally wierded out when the closing theme to R+F was playing at the end of the movie

You're a very strange bird, SatteliteCam. I like the 5 second sig pic too!

But I was just wondering what that tune was. Now I gotta buy that CD, I have the WWF CD with the OCP tune, and I'll have to find that Annie Defranco CD too.

Annie is good...

Moe, get "The Tarantino Connection"! Stay away, FAR away from the "Four Rooms" soundtrack...you'll be tearing your hair out by the fourth track...
