The only thing about the number is that you have to say it's your home number, cause I seriously doubt many people have a 212 cell number, never mind a person who had just moved to the city!

No, but a lot of people have (212) work numbers.

Back in the day if someone I wasn't interested in hit on me, I just used to give them a fake name. Sometimes I'd give them my number. Then when they'd call my roomate would say, "Sorry, you have the wrong number. There's no MaryAnne here."
