A few ways to approach this question.

1. What's a Jesus and Satan?

2. Walk on water? I'd only accept that possibility if the water was ice, in which case no one is scuba diving beneath its surface.

3. In Christian mythology. Is Satan viewed as Jesus' antithesis? If so, why would the opposite pole of walking on water be traveling beneath it's surface? Soaring above the water is just as likely, but it too is not the opposite of walking on water.

4. If Satan is not Jesus' anthithesis, perhaps they are then to be viewed as part of the same force, the yin and yang of God's extraordinary penchant for random violence and suffering and occasionally tossing the masses some random love (so long as you're not female or believe in different myths). This concept does not require equal measures of characteristics, rather a view of good and evil of two sides of the same coin; both manifestations of god, who is truly evil as much as truly good, for without god's conception and definition of the terms and the potential for both in his creations, neither good nor evil could exist. But man, according to many religious mythology is created in god's image which explains why there is so much pure evil in the world.

5. 2000 or so years ago when people reported seeing Jesus (and weren't confined for their psychosis) scuba gear didn't exist.
