Back In The Machine? - wookubus
(1:48 PM PST 06/28/2002)
Recent industry rumors suggest that the Rage Against The Machine and Chris Cornell project is once again back on with the two parties having worked out their differences and deciding to continue on with the group. According to www.hitsdailydouble.com, the band have even been seeking out new management recently. While little else is known as of yet, a September 24th release through Epic has been rumored for the groups completed debut offering.
From what i've heard its much more mellow than Rage, but it's gonna be an interesting release.

Joy.
I'd be, like, all excited and stuff, if I didn't hate Rage with a passion.

I hate Zach de Laracha (the old RATM lead singer) but the rest of the band rocks ass. I think it could work.

the new project featuring former members of Rage Against The Machine and Soundgarden have now settled upon Audioslave as their new moniker. At present the band are holed up in a Los Angeles, CA area studio working on new material for their debut outing which is now rumored to surface through Epic on November 19th, despite the band continuing work on new recordings. The tentatively titled track "Save Yourself" has been tapped as the first single and is expected to impact at radio on October 01st. In the interim, an official website has been launched for the band at www.audioslavemusic.com.

I downloaded some of the songs and they are not that bad. But it just is a really odd mix consiodering Soundagrden and Rage were from different sides of the spectrum. Still hoping for that Soundgarden reunion but who knows. I wonder if they did get back together if they could top Badmotorfinger or Louder Than Love.

ratm were a bunch of rich boys singing incredibly horrible PC lyrics.
whenever cornell would reach for those "plant-like" vocals, I would pray that his vocal chords would turn into chopmeat.
does every bad band think they have to come back? is it a money issue?
is that asshole bassist from ratm still a part of this?
if only he had taken out durst with a flying dropkick.

I have had the CD for about a month now...I like it...But I'm sure they are reworking some of the stuff...
I heard a song on KRock the other week...and it sounded better than what I have on disc.
