Vatican Sitting On Time Machine?

BOCA RATON, Fla. (Wireless Flash) -- First, the Vatican was accused of hiding the records of priests who've abused kids. Now, it's being accused of hiding a time machine.
The machine in question is called a "Chronovisor" and was built in the 1950s by a Benedictine monk named Father Pellegrino Ernetti.

No photos of the Chronovisor exist, but paranormal journalist John Chambers says Ernetti reportedly used the "way back machine" to film Christ's crucifixion for Vatican officials.

Ernetti died in 1994 without revealing the secret of the Chronovisor but Chambers says evidence is mounting that the Catholic Church is hiding a working model from the rest of the world, supposedly to keep it from getting into evil hands.

Sound crazy? Maybe, but there may be something to it. Chambers says a Jesuit priest named Father Francois Brune believes the Chronovisor must exist because -- in the priest's words -- "Ernetti wouldn't lie about such things."

I hope they're not using it to find younger boys.

All I can think about now is Peabody, Sherman and the Way Back Machine, thanks a lot.
Was Mr. Peabody a priest as well as a dog?

So once again Catholics; WE'RE NUMBER 1!!!

Doc Brown called it when he said the Delorean could "Witness the birth of Christ."

This story is ridiculous, but if it is true, would you want the average person to have a time machine? Life would lose all meaning. If the wrong people got ahold of it, history would be changed forever. If the Vatican does have a time machine and is hiding it, I am willing to support the decision.

Sunnydogg, let's just get this out of the way. Back to the Future 3 was bad compared to the first 2, but it was a decent movie standing on its own. It had to live in the shadow of 2 of the greatest movies ever made. Now everyone can return to posting.

Yeah, but it doesn't work. Otherwise they wouldn't be stuck in the 4th century.

Nice going, Tall_James, now the Vatican snipers will be after us! They can't let people talk about this all willy-nilly on the Internet! :)

There's a movie that has some element of this thing in it where people were beaming information back in time to Earth about the devil coming or something.

Theres no way you can really believe that BTTF3 was a good movie on it's own! It had a weak plotline (Mad dog Tannen?), and the whole idea of the train pushing the Delorean was maddeningly annoying.

And if the ending with the flying train wasn't enough, I refer you to the Back to the Future cartoon, which had Marty always getting into wild situatins with Doc's crazy kids and the time machine. IT was horrid!
