Hey,Everycouple of months somebody posts something like Best match or best move or something so I figured Let me ask you guys what you think are the worst finisher!My worst finisher is The Leg drop or the Peoples elbow!

the Stroke, that awful Jeff Jarrett move, where it looked like he and his opponent were running a 3 legged race.

The problem with that move is that it takes too long to setup, and almost no one sells it properly. Look at the recipient of the Stroke / Breakdown. They almost always kneel down, and then fall on their face. The only person I think I saw sell it right (falling straight onto your face) was Rock.

I'd much rather prefer that they invert the move and just perform an STO.

God, I HATE how they sell the Bubba Bomb. I mean, look at it! At best, it's just a high impact atomic drop. You're supposed to be knocked unconscious by an atomic drop? Total bullshit. If it was a transition move to an actual finisher (like the senton Bubba always tries), that'd be okay.

Top Seven Worst Finishers (It would have been Ten but I ran out of steam):


The X-factor: I'm going to grab you by the hair, jump in the air and pull your head don to the mat. oooh, how horrible.
The People's Elbow: The Rock Bottom isn't bad as a finisher, but then the Rock takes 2 minutes to go through all the rigermarole to drop an elbow? Why doesn't his foe just recover.
Big Boot/Leg Drop of Doom: In the 80's it was just boring and predictible, In the 90's it was just something to fill time until 428 people ran into the ring to beat up who he was wrestling, today it's boring, predictable, and lame compared to most of the other wrestler's finishers.
The Fame-asser: A leg drop to the back of the head? Much better as a setup to a finisher.
SuperKick: What ever happened to "Signature moves"? Stevie Richards, Justin Credible, Lance Storm, and Chuck Polumbo all use it. And what happens if HBK returns to action? The Worm: Okay, this probably should have been #2 but I just remembered it. Running in place, letter posing and old-school break dancing to deliver a weak chop to the chest. If you were a wrestler who ever lost to this move you should retire now and go hide in a cave.
Benoit's flying headbutt: He connects to the shoulder. I could take a flaming arrow in my shoulder and probably go about my normal daily activities. If he connected to the chest or stomach I would buy it.

Peoplz we are discussing worst finsiher. The stink
face, X factor, Beniots headbutt off the top are not
finishers and lets face the facts the peoples elbow
is not a finisher either he just finishers off wimps
with that move. If you do Angles finsiher properly
like one of my best buds does (He was doing it
before Shmamrock) it hurts like holy hell believe me.
If we were doing all time finishers I may have gone
with Rugged Ronnies Garvin Punch but it looks like
we are doing current finsihers and that is THE
WORM !!!!

But dude! You gotta check out some Japanese tapes for some hard hitting clotheslines. For classic All Japan wrestling, Stan Hansen & Kenta Kobashi. For modern day All Japan, Satoshi Kojima. All give damn good lariats. FROM HELL!!! ;)

The problem with the Last Ride is two-fold.

1) Taker is too old to lift anyone who weighs more than Spike Dudley over his head.

2) The WWE is too pussy to make the move what it should be - a "high-angle" powerbomb.

The jackhammer's no worse than the Rock Bottom. The Rock Bottom's nothing but a judo throw, a uranage. It's more of a set-up manuever or transition move than it is a legit finisher.
