Since I'm not in a relationship at the moment, I go to the movies with friends that are, and I'm always the odd man out, sitting alone in the buffer zone. Someone find me a woman or at least a small subservient and hairless boy.
As for going alone, I've only gone to see one movie by myself, and that was "As Good As It Gets". I think everyone else wanted to see something crappy at the time.

I think Girl Germs is looking for someone to see Shrek with, that would be a perfect movie for you two to see together.

Last time I took her to the movies, I ended up coming back with a stutter. I won't go into it.

only movie I ever saw by myself was Star Wars Episode I. Got all my friends to see a midnight showing opening night, but no one wanted to go again at noon the next day.

For me the only movie that I ever saw alone was Independence Day. My g/f at the time refused to go see it because she thought it was a guy flick. Typical!
Otherwise I think there's nothing wrong with seeing a movie by yourself. If you can rent a movie and watch it by yourself, that going to a theater to do it is totally fine! And if anyone looks at you strangely, just give em the "evil eye" and stick out your toungue. That always gets em to leave you alone. :)
One of the hardest things for an individual to do is to feel comfortable being alone in a place thought of as a more social atmosphere. If ya go by yourself, it shows that your comfortable with yourself too, so kudos! Most people would bring anyone to a movie instead of going a lone, so there's nothing wrong with it! :)

I dont see anything wrong going to the movies alone, It's more enjoyable that way , so your friend wont complain to you during the movie. Or like Fez said, Just bring pen and paper, pretend you're writing and mutter "tsk tsk tsk".
And at the end , scream "I AM ISCREAM!! THE WORLD FAMOUS FILM CRITIC!

Most of the times I find someone to go to the movies but I have gone to a handful alone. Like Ron said does it really matter what some people say since you really will not ever see these people again.

No, just shows she has taste. No one should be subjected to ID4.

About a month ago I went to see Along came a Spider. I went cause I was sick and everyone was busy or not around. So, instead of being sick and miserable I went which actually made me feel a lot better. Hey,alone time is all good. Every now and then it's good to clear your head out.;)

While it's not the best movie, it was (at the time) a pretty exciting premise, and the WhiteHouse exploding was interested the first time I saw the preview for it. Everyone needs a little bit of an unrealistic plot in a movie once and a while I think :)

Well, for a highly advanced civilization able to master the difficulties of space travel, especially over such long distances, the fact that they were brought down by Jeff Goldblum's laptop had to be a downer. Not so much that a single laptop was able to infiltrate your incredibly complex navigational/defense computers and such (which, luckily, runs on the Mac platform. Steve Jobs picks his clients wisely.) but the fact that it was JEFF GOLDBLUM's laptop. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate Mr. Goldblum more than anyone else I know, but I seem to be the only one who knows he's actually retarded. That's not an act, he's just a waterhead. So that's a bummer.
Maybe they deserved it, since their idea of diplomacy, like countless alien races before them, was "I want you to die". That's not very productive, Mr. Alien. Perhaps total subjugation of the planet, or maybe just form a galactic alliance with yourself as the supreme race. After a while, you'll have no one else to kill, and how fun will that be, Mister? Huh? That's what I thought. Now sit in the corner and think about what you've done.

We can't even get macs and pcs to talk to each other, but a mac based virus is able to crash alien spacecrafts? whatever.

Yes the whole computer virus deal was dumb, but hey, it's not like the rest of the movie was absolutely realistic. When the Fresh Prince saves the world, ya gotta have your doubts.
gg, I also like to masturbate by myself, but only if there isn't a penguin around.
