SKULLCRUSH - I must confess to being extrememly puzzled by your question.

I've found the lights on the NYC subways to flicker, fade and actually black out, with much more frequency than the LIRR.

It's one of the many reasons I stopped taking the subway.

the only subway lights i can recall that flicker,are the outside subways.i could be wrong though.

the fridge gnomes told me they rigged the light so it turns back on after a couple seconds to fool you people.
