NO! I'm 23, graduated a year ago, have a job, and still don't know what I want to do. I like my job, but I don't want to be here forever. It is a good stepping stone. Don't rush it sweetie. I didn't even know what I wanted to major for awhile. Just pick something that you have some interest in...you will figure it out. It takes most people awhile to figure it out, don't worry, its not bad.

Would you be willing to dance at a club? I say this because you would make more money in a 5 hour shift than you would make at any desk job.... Plus you would have the whole day to do what ever the hell you want. <P>

It's bad when you're 32 and feel that way.

NELLIE - Many people your age don't know what they want to do. That's not unusual in the slightest.
Take as many classes as you can in everything that interests you. In this way you'll be able to narrow your focus on what you really enjoy.
Some people find career guidence helpful. Basicially, the good ones involve taking a battery of tests ranging from IQ, to MMPI (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory), and others.
The test results are compared to the answers of people already working in various professions. The theory is that the professionals who's interests and intelligence and personality you most closely match will be the field for you.
Some people have had great success finding a career that they are very happy with. Others have less positive expereince. In general, the more thoroughly you are tested, the better the likelihood of a good match. Some places offer very perfunctory testing which is not particularly helpful.
As with all things, Caveat Emptor.
