God it has been so long ago. I remember my parents taking me with them to see Patton. I fell asleep.

I think the first movie I remember going to was "It's a mad,mad, mad, mad, world" at the little A in Amityville.
Heckler remember when they showed cartoons before the movie or double features.

Actually it was a movie called Susana Smiles... and I don't remember a damn thing about it other than the star was Drew Barrymore, and she was like 6 or something... it was right after or right before ET, I think.

I think it was Star Wars, I may have been too
young to understand what was going on.

I clearly remember seeing Clash of the Titans.

It was some movie in the late 60s, early 70s starring Steve McQueen. My parents dragged me to it. (Guess they couldn't get a baby sitter.) It might have been "The Getaway."

Young Frankenstein at a drive-in somewhere in Wall NJ. I was probably about 4 or 5. Jaws was the second movie I'd ever seen.

Jaws at age 6. At the part where the corpse pops up from under the boat, I broke into hysterical laughter. Horrified, or amused? Hmm... <P>

That whole mid-seventies period is a blur for me. I don't know what I saw first;
STAR WARS or
THE BAD NEWS BEARS ot
CONVOY

But I do clearly remember seeing THE AMITYVILLE HORROR and being really scared.
Of course, it didn't help that I grew up on Long Island and my father told me that not only was the movie based on a true story, but the whole thing happened just a few miles from our home.
That's just plain bad parenting. But it don't make 'em a bad person.
