I don't know much about Popeye so I could be wrong, but Olive had his ass whipped! I had on cartoon network last night and Popeye came on and I just realized she had 2 men. Popeye and Bluto who were always fighting over her (and she encouraged the competition sometimes). Why didn't she just pick one? Why did the guys put up with it? What the hell, Olive had it like THAT? All I have to say is, good job Olive, women can learn from you.

Here's a link not for the squeamish. Popeye was a popular character in the "Tijuana Bibles" of the 1920's - 1950's. As you can see, he wasn't exactly p***whipped! Enjoy!

And yea, Olive had both Bluto and Popeye wrapped around her finger. Plus, she made them look after her stupid kid. Beat.

Did anyone see that Orange Juice ad with Popeye and Bluto that ran a few months ago? I remember seeing a Daily show story, and an actual news story about how some stupid group thought that Popeye and Bluto were acting in a Homosexual manor.
