I was flipping through the channels the other day, and I came across the old kid's show "New Zoo Revue." I used to watch it all the time when I was younger, and I had completely forgotten about it. Does anyone else remember this show? The main characters were Freddie the frog and Henrietta the hippo. There was also an owl, but I don't remember what his name was.
Also, does anyone remember a kid's show from the early '80s called "Caliope" (pronounced kuh-lye-uh-pee)? I think that's what it was called. It aired on Nickelodeon in the early '80s, and it took place in a department store. After the store was closed for the day, the mannequins would come to life. Nobody else I know remembers this show! The only episode I remember was about a monarch butterfly that talked to the mannequins. The butterfly got old and died, and they buried her in a jewelry box. I remember this because it was one of the first experiences I ever had with death.
If anyone remembers either of these shows, or has some information about them, I'd love to hear it.

OMG! I totally forgot about that show! I used to love it. There was a little mouse too wasn't there that lived in the store? I used to love Nickelodeon shows. I just vaguely remember the zoo one, but I do know I've seen it before.

I remember Caliope, used to fight with my sis to get that damn show turned off. How about that show, Pinwheel too, it used to run like all damn day on that channel.
There was another show like NZR called The Great Space Coaster. And if I am correct Louie Anderson used to do a voice for that show...
