Calling local bands to WNEW playoff

It's a Fez-tival!

WNEW-FM (102.7)'s "Ron and Fez" are soliciting music from local bands for their "Ron and Fez-tival of Music and Ribs."

Songs will be highlighted on ronfez.net, and finalists will get to perform live at the Fez-tival (date and location to be announced).

Entries must be performed by a band with instruments, and no computer-generated music will be accepted.

Compact discs (no tapes) can be mailed to The Ron & Fez Band-Off, 888 Seventh Ave., 10th Floor, New York, N.Y. 10106. MP3s can be sent to rory@wnew.com.

All entries must be submitted by July 31.

Ron and Fez should be on the news every night. They should do their show live on TV like Imus. Imus is a terd, and looks like he's on life support all the time. I think that big hat's gonna just fall over his head one day, and smother him to death.
