Transformers the movie
or
The G.I. Joe T.V. movie with Don Johnson as Lt. Falcon and the origin of the evil serpentor and the Cobra-La-La-La
who can ever forget the heartbreaking moment of Duke taking the poison snake for Falcon, and with what was thought to be his last words saying "Yo Joe", plus Sgt. Slaughter dropping elbows on guys and whacking a 50 ft. Centipede with a empty maching gun to knock it out--priceless

I still can't hear the song, "Somewhere Out There", without getting a little misty ("An American Tail").
Oh, and of course, the animated parts of "The Wall."

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
Too bad they didn't go all the way and push for an R rating. As it was, we got all of the goodness of the Batman animated series, plus we get actual death and Batman gets some poontang.
and
Perfect Blue
If Hitchcock had made an anime, it'd be this one.
Honorable mention:
G.I. Joe the Movie
I've seen it at least 30 times.
Transformers the Movie
If you didn't cry when Optimus died, you have no soul.
Vampire Hunter D
The first anime movie I ever saw. It hooked me.
The Iron Giant.
I cry like a baby everytime!
I cry at the end too.
And I'm heartless. I kill puppies for fun.

I was seven when I saw The Tranformers' movie, and I wept openly. Unfortunately, because it fucked up so many kids, it made the studio puss out on the upcoming GI Joe movie. That's why when Duke obviously dies from a fucking SPEAR TO THE GODDAMNED HEART, you hear some godawful voiceover that says "He's fallen into a coma!"
And "The Iron Giant" is a thing of beauty. I'll brick anyone who tries to say otherwise or laughs.

What was the movie where Charlie Brown goes to camp (or some shit like that) and he has to compete in a river-race with some no-good punks?
I seem to remember that being a pretty good movie.

Yeah, it was. I figured it was dorktacular enough of me to be ranting abut a dead GI Joe without going into the whole snake-spear deal...that would have just confused people.
