Alright, admit it! Who here has been on a first date and it ended in (a) excusing yourself from the table, going into the ladies room and climbing out the window, or (b) practically jumping out of the car while it was still running, etc..

The other night I was listening to a radio talk program about dates gone horribly wrong and I was hysterical! One woman said she was set up on a blind date with this guy who was about 7 inches shorter than she was and when she got to the restaurant, he proceeded to tell her in great detail about "his hair plug treatments" he was getting done and proceeded to put his head down over her plate of food to show her the plugs he had just gotten!

Anyone have similar stories?

Sadly, I have no stories. And even if I was in that situation, I would probably at least stick it out until the end of the night because that would just be too horrible for that persons self esteem if I snuck out. Not that I look down on people doing it, I just couldn't. I'm too nice sometimes dammit.

well.. i dont have anyhting of the sort you seem to be looking for. but i do have something that i think would qualify as a "dating disaster" (eep, hope i never posted about this before)...

in college, i met this boy in a lab i was in... he was just adorable. we started talking, got along well, started hanging after lab. we'd go eat, talk a lot, email each other, i thought we were doing ok and were starting to date. then, i heard smashing pumpkins were coming to town, so i emailed him to ask if he wanted to go. he said that he did, and then added "hey.. did i ever tell you about my ex boyfriend who looked exactly like billy corgan?" what?!? eh, turned out my new boyfriend was gay. i dont know how i didnt realize it, thinking about it later, it seems completely obvious. but i had no clue...

Ok i some what have a story to tell...
Ok i met this guy from a chatline i call on the phone. We had been talkin for atleast 2 or 3 months so we decided to meet up. Before that day when we met we had described each other, I really dont remember him describing himself to much but I figured he couldnt be that bad looking... The day came when we met and this guy was oogly, but since he was so nice and all i went through it all and went out wit him.... make a long story short ( kinda late for that .... my bad)

One of our dates(last date):
we went to the movies i went with him and my two best friends went together my best friend(guy) paid for my other friend(girl) i didnt expect my guy to pay for me i was willing to pay for myself BUT... the asshole also asked me to pay for him. so i was like" ok fine "
we go in to the movies and the boy tries to get a lil too friendly with me, so i stop him. He comes out with that hes thirsty, I dont know what the fuck is goin through this guys head he asks me to buy him a drink so im like " fuck it" im outta here so i got up and left....

I just thought of one my friend told me about once happening to her.

She joined up with a reputable dating service that she paid a good sizable amount to. She is told that this guy is a cop, single, etc., etc.. She goes to a restaurant with him on their first date and she orders something to eat. Within 5 minutes, this guy asks her "if she is into oral sex". She thinks the question is crude, particularly on the first date of meeting someone. My friend is Irish and has a very short temper and little patience. When the waitress comes over, she asks her to wrap up her meal and asks the guy to take her home immediately and not to bother to call her again. She later called up the dating service and tells them about what happened so that any additional women who goes out with this guy are forewarned. I don't think the dating service put him out on any more dates though.

What is it with these guys?

i think the guy from 3 weeks ago...

most boring person, didn't look at my face once ((the twins were getting attention)) and i dont think he had a shread of intelligence

Ok I went on a date with this girl to see matrix but for we went to starbucks which was a mistake( you'll see why ). She orders one of the cold coffees we talked for a while and then we go see the movie at aorund 10pm every reeves came out she grabed my arm and picked me the coffee made hyper thoughout the entire movie.
