yeah, polar bear. he's got claws and REALLY sharp teeth. why did you pick these 2 animals if you think one would win easily. pick some more evenly matched.

I think a Polar bear would rip appart the geurilla. A geurilla is strong, but polar bears are pretty kick ass...

OK, this is just to clarify, a gorilla (the animal) would most likely lose.

Now a GUERILLA on the other hand would just shoot the polar bear. :)

I'd have to say that it would be about even, with the Polar Bear with a slight advantage, let's say 3 out of 5... If what they said on the show was true, that a Polar Bear is 500 pounds heavier... Usualy they "can grow to that size" but not all, a few hundred pounds won't make a "world" of difference...

A gorilla has a low center of gravity and if he grabs a bear by the leg and topples him, then he may beat him into submission while he's on the ground...
If the bear gets to the gorillas vital areas with his claws or teeth then he or she's got an easy win...

either way it would be "unbearable" to watch...

No question about it, the Polar Bear would win.

Remember, Gorrillas are herbivores. Their diet consists of plants and a small amount of fruit. They spend all day foraging to maintain their size. They almost never fight, but instead use their size to intimidate other males from challenging him for control of the females.

Polar bears are carnivores. They hunt other animals to eat. If they cannot kill, they starve and die.

Polar Bear wins.

I think what you Polar Bear supporters and Ronnie are both underestimating is the intelligence and thumb aspect of the fight. Sure hand to hand it may not make a lot of difference, but that gorilla is just gonna pick up any 'international object' within reach, a bat or a club of some sort, and just start whacking away. I'm going with the gorilla.
