No doubt, they are the greatest rap crew ever!

I have been listening to my old school Public Enemy albums and I can't take them out of my CD player.

"I shut 'em down!"
"When they ask me where I get it.
I got from my pops
when a man in the house
and all the bullshit stops."

Confession: Chuck D was the first black man that I was truly inspired by and was one of my teenage heroes.

When I get down
I give what go around
and when I cough
I do my best to cut it off

I don't claim to be a preacher
Not paid to be teacher
But I'm grown
I try to be a leader to the bone

Never could follow a man with a bottle
He's a baby with a beard
and not a feared role model

And they ask me where I get it
I got it from my pops
When a man in the house
and all the bullshit stops

And I sing a song
'bout what the hell is going wrong
You never know if your just a TV and a radio
These days you see who's in cahoots
'Cause now the KKK wears three-piece suits

It's like that y'all
It's like that y'all
In fact, you know, it's like that y'all

they are one of the greatste rap groups in history
the fact that they were not afraid to get involved with politics and show the world that they know what is going on
I actually think that Chuck-D would make a terrific politician... flava flave would make a great jester back in the midevil dayz

Founded in 1801 by Alexander Hamilton, that's 190 years of some fucked up news!

Public Enemy rules.

You know they are a great rap group when Flava Flav can still dress exactly the same way and get away with it. No one questions. They were fresh and controversial. Even if you hated them, you had to notice them.

Rooster - You rock man!

P.E. is hands down the best rap group ever! I'll take them in a battle against anyone. They got the original beats, Chuck's booming voice and an awesome stage show! I saw them like 15 times in concert. I've still got a couple of shirts tucked away in my closet...just waiting for the revolution to start up again.

So many groups out there today, rock and rap, owe a lot to Public Enemy. They inspired a lot of people to create music.

Nation of Millions is one of the 10 best albums of all time. I'm talking anyone! Beatles, Nirvana, Rolling Stones, Clash, U2, Run DMC..whoever!

911 is jokey joke town

Wasnt it "911 is joke in yo town"?
in 1999 you'lll twist to this as you raise you fist to the music, united we stand yes divided we fall together we can stand tall, brothers that try to work it out they get mad, revolt revive to stay alive.......etc. Atleast thats what I thought they were saying.

Tell them Johnny Wadd was here
