I was a big fan of MASH and thought that final 2 hour episode was waaaay to melodramatic. That show totally lost its sense of humor towards the end and took itself much to seriously.

I think it was about the 4th or 5th season when I realized that Chris Carter is an idiot. He had a great idea 10 years ago, made it into a show, and had NO CLUE where to go.

Just wondering...exactly WHY does everyone despise the last episode of Seinfeld??
I mean; did everyone really want Jerry & Elaine to get married?!? Did they want them to all just live happily-ever-after after shooting the pilot of their new show?
I thought the episode was great. It really connected all the seasons and bookended the first and last episodes.

If you could re-write it...what you do different?

The problem with the last seinfeld is it wasn't like the ones we loved. It had a stupid plot and ending.

The only good thing that came out of it is when Jerry hosted SNL and they did a "Seinfeld on Oz" bit.

The last episode of "Three's Company" sucked because the writers didn't end the storyline the way they should have. They should have had Jack and Janet get married, but they wanted to have a spinoff series, so they had Jack marry that Vicki girl, who he had just met, like, 2 episodes before. Ridiculous and disappointing. And the spinoff, "Three's A Crowd" sucked.
