Although I don't doubt the story, and I love the choices, I am surprised to see Colin Farrell taking on another comic book film. Jude Law as Supes/Kent is awesome.

I like the choices I think they are both yummy. Whoever plays Batman has to have a nice jaw line because you mostly see that when he has his mask on.

For some reason I have no clue who Colin Farrell is, but he looks like the "bad guy" in Minority Report.
He was in American Outlaws as Jesse James. (And hooked up in the movie with the blonde from Varsity Blues, does that get him any points?)

That is Colin Farrell , hollywoods latest new actor they are buzzing about. He'll be playing Bullseye in the Daredevil movie

I don't know the plot of the movie, but the Superman vs. Batman fist fight has already been explored in a comicbook from back in the day.
Batman built some wacky suit of armor with heavy duty hydraulics that gave him enough strength to actually casuse injury to Supes. I don't remember kryptonite having anything to do with it, but I could be wrong. I haven't read a comic book in 18 years.

As for the casting...Jude Law is gonna kick ass as Supes! Very cool.

Colin Farrel was in a movie aboot soldiers in bootcamp just before deploying to Vietnam. The movie is called TIGERLAND. Pretty solid flick. Definitely a renter.

I just don't understand why they would want to fight each other. They are both generally accepted as childhood heroes, so I think the movie is going to have a really hard time explaining to the general audience (not rabid comic book fans) why they would ever hate each other.

Why would the supposed epitome of human developement (Batman) and the literal ubermensch (Superman) be cast by actors who are BOTH 5' 11"? Why would you cast people who are basically uninspiring? I've never seen Colin Farrell in anything and Jude Law while a pretty good actor is NO Superman by any stretch. Giving him blue tights and a red cape won't fill me with a sense of awe. With all the people in Hollywood this is the best they could do? God help us all if this movie blows.

If the script is anything like batman and robin this movie is going to bomb and the guy cast as batman is mostly going to in the costume, but superman I think someone else might be able to play the character, but who know he might do good like the guy who play spiderman

From Dark Horizons today:Warners denied the comments: "The roles have NOT been cast yet, they are still seeing other actors in casting next week. Jude Law and Colin Farrell are very definitely in the running but nothing has been locked yet.

So it's not a lock yet. I'd like to see both of these guys in the role, although I do like Christian Bale as Batman.

1st Colin Farell might be better cast in Batman Beyond since he looks like a teenager. Isn't Jude Law a might scrawny to be a superhero?Speaking of Batman Beyond. Who would you cast as an old retired Bruce Wayne? My current pick would be Jack Palance.

2nd Daredevil is going to blow dead bear. I saw a trailer for it and it didn't look good at all. Too bad Brandon Lee is dead at least we would have had a good fight seen to watch.

3rd Marvel has made only two watchable superhero movies. Did you ever wonder why the Fantastic Four will never ever see the light of day? Or why Captain America came and went kind of unnoticed?
