Raunchy Radio

I really don't think that "raunchy radio" is funny.

I have always had a sensitive stomach and this stuff actually sometimes makes me sick. Some examples:

Ferrell's daily description of the "cack" that is in his throat.

Don and Mike used to do this thing almost daily called the "celebrity burp" and people had to guess who the burp was done by.

Sorry, this stuff really isn't funny and I usually end up turning on another station because it sometimes turns my stomach!

I don't NEED my radio to be raunchy, but I don't MIND it. I like O&A. Ron and Fez are BETTER, and are hardly ever Raunchy, so there you go. It's not ALWAYS nessecary to be raunchy, but it's not bad.

That's ok. But, I have to say that I don't think I ever really liked listening to someone burping or farting or talking about the phlegm that is in their throats. I just never found it funny - just disgusting! I mean, the sad part about it is, is that Ferrell really is a smart guy, and he really knows his sports - I mean that is evident! But, he does, this (almost daily) thing of coughing into the mike and describing his throat problems and phlegm problems - like somehow we are interested and want to hear all about it!

When O&A go down that tired old road of strippers, endless lame interviews with whatever whores are lining up for the next "contest", or when Norton goes over the top with his Jim Goad/Peter Sotos derived "humor", it gets old fast.

I know how you feel about O&A. I have stopped listening to them months ago. I guess I have always been attracted to radio and television that really made you think. I guess, I like R&F because they allow a lot of audience participation on various topics. I mean, it just doesn't interest me to hear about descriptions of women's boobs, etc. It doesn't fascinate or interest me in anyway. But talk about politics, religion, current events (like R&F do) - then you have my interest because it is fresh and new. The other stuff really is tired to me!

im a simply guy that thinks simply,so i like my entertainment simply.the over the top stuff wont last long,because it will just get recycled for years to come!
