I am an big fan of the original, and I hope the remake is tolerable. I still say that the last scene is one of the greatest endings in movie history.

i'm going to name my adopted son cornelius, after roddy mcdowall's character on planet of the apes. if i adopt a boy and a girl the boy will be named cornelius and the girl will be named cornelia. and if anybody were to bully them i would gladly kick their little asses.

I heard the Burton has made it public that the ending will not have a Staue of Liberty... I think this guy has a completely new story.

I don't know if you saw Sleepy Hollow, but it is so far off from the book it is ridiculous

I have a feeling Planet of the Apes is going to suck.

I used to love Mr. Tim Burton, but after Sleepy Hollow...I don't know...

The Planet of the Apes remake is supposed to be based on the book and not the actual movie.

If Girl Germs has a kid, so help us all. Why not just name the girl Nova? Noooova...nooooooooova....

I really liked Sleepy Hollow. Amazing visuals and good story for a movie based on a short story.

As for Apes, it's supposed to be based on the book, which was completely different than the original movie. (Don't ask me how, never read the book)

In the book, I believe, it's not earth. Twist ending, still, but completely different. And they all have spider legs.

As for Sleepy Hollow...Burton's known for amazing visuals. The story was alright, but, as I've said, the Disney cartoon was much better. Burton deserves to be punished, at the very least, for criminal underusage of the lord god Christopher Walken.

It will definately be the book ending. I just hope that there will be some kickass fight scenes in it. It looks like those apes are really agile in this remake.

I personally really liked Sleepy Hollow and thought the visuals were fantastic. SUre it wasn't like the original story but when I look at a movie based on an original source I look at the movie as separate and different.

I have high hopes for PotA.

My review is in the POTA discussion but simply put, plot sucked. Too much battle scenes. But I do reccomend it since it had amazing visuals and Tim Roth gave what might be the best performance so far this year.

Just saw Planet of the Apes today. I liked it. Thougt it was good. Only thing that disturbed me was one of the apes looked like Michael Jackson. Maybe it was the hair and the lighter facial features. It was errie.
