GTA3 is better for PC then for PS2. its got more buttons to use, but the codes are easier to use. too bad you have a pos comp.

I rarely play console games anymore, PC games are just so much deeper and involved (and don't have ridiculously limited save points).

GTA is a very cool and deliciously sick game. Nothing like paying a hooker for sex to restore health, then killing her as she's walking away and taking your money back.

I generally prefer PC games to console games, but GTA3 is one of those rare instances where the PS2 version is better. It plays right out of the box, you don't need to worry about changing configuration setting to trick the game into working on your 3 year old Voodoo card that you "can't find the money or time to upgrade", and besides, unless you have an ultra-new PC, the draw-in is terrible on the non-console version.

FPS games, though, are a different story. With the exception of Halo, I've never been impressed playing one on a console. I'll stick to playing DoD and Medal of Honor on my PC. (And yes, I am aware that DoD is a mod, but since Valve has taken the project "under its wing" I would not be surprised if they formally released it as a new game unto itself.)
