Slamball gave a little sneak preview after WWE Raw last night. I have to say the concept was lame but to see the action itself was amazing.

It looked like a live action version of NBA Jam with football, hockey (full contact) and basketball (shooting treys, dribbling, dunks) thrown into the mix! I was marking out once again! Hopefully this won't be the XFL experiment and last quite a long time.

A guy by the name of Sean "Inches" Jackson did his best impersonation of Isaiah JR Ryder between the legs slam. He is a player to watch in the USU.

Two eight minute halves, I hope it goes live instead of tape. Its 4 on 4 on a full sized court which is enclosed by plexiglass. Four HOTSPOT trampolines on each half court around the respective hoops for increased dunking ability ("heights 17 ft. above the game floor"). The names of the team are nice too... The Mob, Steal, Diablos, Rumble, Bouncers and the Slashers. Also the jerseys are hot if they actually sell them bastards.

The season start August 3 for those interested.

i was on the phone with a chica while i was watching it,so i didnt really pay it much attention:)

im gonna watch it though cuz i enjoyed what i did happen to catch.i like the trampolines factor the get mad air when they go to dunk!

That is so true, Sheepie. The way you can get dropped on your head on the trampoline as you get your shot is blocked violently seems really fun for me. Aire of danger makes it more enticing for me and probably many of you out there.

Live Action NBA Jam people!

I saw the commercials on RAW. I've seen bigger crowds on Battlebots.BJ, Mr. Kaientai, nice sig btw... well the games they played on television were exhibitions and the season hasn't started yet so that is why you didn't see as many fans as ugh, Battlebots. Remember this is a new concept and it just got started this year unlike the robot war programs that have beenin existence for many years now.

If this is a success, expect more fans than Montreal or Tampa Bay, lol. Well that wouldn' say that much. Just give it un poco tiempo.

Please post this in the wrestling forum next time Joey! Damn!Oz, you probably didn't read this thread at all, did you? Slamball was previewed after wrestling. This has nothing to do with wrestling, maybe a cross-promotion down the line to increase their respective TNN ratings, that's all.

I caught some of it the other night, and am in full agreement about it being a live action video game. I doubt it will last, but it really was much better than I thought it would be.

I say take the gay announcers out , the white people because they shouldnt be in any form of basketball ,the glass so the crowd can attack the players , and give everyone guns - now there would be a show. Just like a riot on trampolines.
