i was reading something in (i believe) spin the other day about all the new good bands out of sweden... the swdeish invasion, if you will. so, it got me thinking... who's your favorite swedish band?

hey all, i love the Hives but also the Burning Heart reord label out of sweden has had some incredible bands. Millencolin rocks and are actually still together while great bands like No Fun At All (greatest hits album in the fall) and Refused (which the singer is in The International Noise Conspiracy) which are both no more there are literally tons of other swedish bands. i am glad to see an interest in it and if i can turn ssomeone on to the great NFAA or Refused, great! i am glad to see the Hives putting sweden back ont he map. Burning heart put out a great dvd a little while back called Hang the VJ. 61 videos and 24 bands. hate to sound like an advertising whore here but this is some really great stuff. later on,

the only swedish band i like is Millencolin. i dont like them that much anymore. their first 3 albums were really good but their last two just werent the same millencolin sound i was used to. idunno. i dont like change. they were my favorite band for a while and i made a millencolin website with a bunch of crap on it a few years ago but i havent updated it in a little over a year.
