I have some hideous old cassette tapes:

Wilson Phillips-Wilson Phillips Extreme-Pornographitti Indigo Girls-Rites of Passage The Best of Peter, Paul, and Mary

The worst CD would have to be an '80s music compilation (which I listen to constantly).

when your new stuff cant hold a candle to your classics, its time to hang em up. it does nothing but tarnish your legacy. and the more they stay in the spotlight, the more they seem like giant whores. hoo hoo.

Uggh! I forgot to include my Tiffany and Debbie Gibson cassettes! Why in the hell did I ever listen to that shit? That, and my Poison tapes. I had no taste when I was younger.

Weilands 12 bar blues isn't that bad. I also have Metallica Load. That truly sucks. I have the Bloodhound Gang, the $ex Pistol$ live CD from 96 or 97, Type O Negatives last 2 cds were pretty bad, S.O.D.'s last CD sucked too, Izzy Stradlin,...I could go on.

i know its hard to believe, but its true. back in the day, when I used to do open mikes, I would do this great acoustic version of "never take the place of your man," and "raspberry beret" is hands down a great song. (i'm partial to his earlier stuff, i used to cover them all they time. they sound great as "3 chords and the truth")

as a little side note to this, is anyone so dedicated to a band that they will buy anything even if it would be them taking a dump for example? like i love KISS and just had to have the ELDER album in there becasue i have liked KISS since i was a kid. have not and will not buy the new album or any of the last couple of greatest hits albums. BLACK SABBATH is the same way (at least the OZZY years) the NEVER SAY DIE album was kind of bad. and BAD RELIGION after their first album put out INTO THE UNKNOWN which is horrible and 80's euro-popish and then they tried to go back to punk with BACK TO THE KNOWN which was also horrible, thank goodness they got back their credibility with SUFFER. those two awful albums i don't own but have copies of becasue they are impossible to find and go for around $50 - $100 on ebay. is thatnot a crazy amount to pay for a horrible album? did anyone hear the METALLICA/JA RULE yet? that is so bad and is not even out yet, i will shut up now,

Someone listed The Fugees' "The Score" as one of the worst CDs - are you nuts? That's one of the great hip-hop CDs of the 90s. Some great tracks on there... "Zealots," "Fu-gee-la," "Ready or Not." It's a hell of a lot better than a lot of the shit that passes for hip-hop these days.

I have to admit I totally was digging the spice girls when they first came out. and Zebrahead did a nice heavy cover of Wannabe.

I'd have to say the worst CD I own (and I have ALOT) is Pearl Jam's 'No Code.' I was a huge PJ fan, but they literally took a pile of shit and shoved it into a CD box and sold it. I was dumb enough to buy it, cause i figured (at the time) it HAD to be better then Vitology (and that wasn't that bad).
