When will the papers stop running Peanuts?Schulz has been dead for quite a while. How about Shoe? It's creator died and suddenly it was being drawn by other guys like nothing happened. Crap like The Family Circus will go on forever, too. There are so many excellent young artists out there, yet only a few get through this nepotism controlled situation. Get Fuzzy. Boondocks. Zits. Mutts. All relatively new, but uniformly excellent.
Must...build...the...pyramid.

good point, why is crap like Gasoline Alley and Brenda Starr still out there? I can understand Peanuts and Shoe because they're still in demand, but there are a lot out there that just get skipped over. hell, i don't even read the Spiderman strip and i love spidey! Boondocks should be everywhere. Its one of the smartest and funniest new comics around . . . just ask Jynx ;)

I beg the differ
Get Fuzzy is funny
pluss it has fuzzy in the title so its extra good
"To alcohol - the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems" - Homer Simpson
Foxtrot is the absolute best.

I love "For Better Or For Worse". Always good for a laugh or a goddamn dog death story.

There are so many excellent young artists out there, yet only a few get through this nepotism controlled situation Bingo!! I love when the son of a famous cartoonist inherits a strip and then offers advice on how to break into the field. Eat me!!! <P>
