Sooo today VH1 had on a "BEHIND THE MUSIC"-athon on....I have really come to respect adn admire Tina Turner and the music and voice she has adn had back in the '60's adn '70's..there was on esong she sang called- i think- MOUNTAIN HIGH, VALLEY LOW...her voice was unbelieveably amazing...
Is there an artist that you are now getting a second wind of that MAYBE you would have never gave a first chance to before?

In recent years, I'e really developed an appreciation of Pink Floyd. I avoided them for a long time, because when I was in High School, it was the cool thing to listen to Pink Floyd and get high and look for the meanings of it all. The Doors have the same stigma for me, but I still haven't got around to them. Perhaps I will give them a shot.

It's "River Deep, Mountain High" -- Phil Spector's last "Wall of Sound" production.

Peggy Lee's version of "FEVER" is very engaging as well....the more obscure the artist is and the more moody or tantilaizing the song and music is the more it attracts me to the song
