J.Lo Set For Spring Wedding With Affleck
Jennifer Lopez is set to seal her fledging romance with movie hunk Ben Affleck by marrying him next spring. The Latina superstar took the Good Will Hunting hunk to meet her family in New York at her 32nd birthday party on July 24 and, according to friends, she plans to march down the aisle with him after her divorce from her husband of just eight months, Cris Judd, is finalized in January. During the party at the Park restaurant, Affleck stood up after the meal to tell the crowd, which included J.Lo's mother Guadalupe, dad David, sister Lynda and grandmother, that he'd fallen deeply in love with Lopez. A friend tells American tabloid the Star, "It was an incredibly romantic moment. Ben was very charming and bold. It took guts for him to stand up and make an announcement like that in front of Jennifer's whole family. Her party was clearly a chance for Jennifer's friends and family to spend some time with her new love. And they all got along great." The pal adds, "Jennifer is saying she'll make a formal announcement about her and Ben to her fans when the time is right. They know getting married is a big step, but they're convinced they're meant for each other." J.Lo's first marriage to restaurateur Ojani Noa in 1997 barely lasted a year.
