I have been pretty bummed recently but I have for the last few weeks been wanting to be a dad. Maybe its casue in my real life world so many peopel and coworkers are having kids, andalso because of my neice, its somethingI always wanted to be but I guess its bothering me cause soem of my coworkers are younger and they have kids while I dont even have a gf ...is this normal to feel this way? it realyl gets me bummed big time

I looked forward to fatherhood since I was a child, most probably b/c I sought to develop the relationship with my children that was missing from my relationship by my very emotionally distant father.

You're ready, and that's wonderful, but as you noted, you can't just jump into a relationship to "settle down and have kids." You have to wait until you find the right person.

With the feelings you have, you'll no doubt make an excellent, involved father and achieve the relationship you desire with your children.

i dont wanna make a joke but maybe get a dog or something first...just to see what the responsiblility of taking care of something is like...many couples do that before they even try concieving ...remember you also do not need a woman...there are many children out there who need good homes
