billy staples' stand up at the norton show in red bank [Archive]

Tonight i had the oppurtunity to go to Red Bank and see the Jim Norton show featuring Billy Staples. During the week when Ron and Fez where telling him not to do it, i thought that it was a bit to get peopel to think billy sucked, but to my suprise he is the worst comedian i have ever seen. He had no control over the crowd. Because of all the booing and yelling he got a grand total of 4 jokes in. Not to mention that one was a Dave Attel joke. It was funny when dave did it but hearing billy try to pass the same material off as his own just made my fucking brain fiz. The other unfunny attempts at humor, which I can only imagine where his, made me wish that my mother had an abortion while she was pregnant with me. Oh ya, before i forget, to make things worse for himself he gave the crowd the finger and walked off stage and made Vause, who killed might i add (his jokes may be old but their funny) come back on stage to finish up for him. After about a minute of coaxing from Vause Billy attempted to try again, but to no avail. The only cheers that billy got where when he was getting off the stage. I felt bad for him until the recycled dave attel bit came out, at which point i wanted to stab him in the face. So if you are thinking about going to see him if he ever does stand up again take my advice and stab pencils in your ears before you go, it will the experience much more enjoyable.
