Before there was O and A and Ron And Fez, was else was there to listen too. Ill admit my guilty pleasure was the Greaseman. He was hilerious and the only entertainment during that time....early 90's i think

by referring to the Greaseman as "hilarious," all of your opinions posted on rf.net now have little or no merit. have a nice day.

I have to admit that Greaseman was a stepping stone for me into Shock Jock territory.

After Greaseman was kicked off k-rock, I went on to stern and then onto the great, but underappreciated, WNEW!

I loved the Dr Dre and Ed Lover Show...I'm serious...They are on in LA now...when Ron and Fez get syndicated there, I'm moving...

I grew up listening to Matt Pinfield every afternoon on FM 106.3...

I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?

I listened to Stern, back when he was funny, and that's about it. I was never one for music radio, as I don't feel like listening to the same song every hour, on the hour. The world would be much better off if every year, each person is confronted with the music that they liked 5 years ago. Would the 20 year olds who support Justin Timberlake's career be so enthusiastic if they realized three years ago they were rocking out to "Ace of Base" and thought that "What If God Was One Of Us" was the most profound song ever?

Perhaps I could review the list of every person on earth's musical taste, and decide who lives and who dies based on that...seems fair...

I used to listen to a lot of talk radio in the 80's and nineties. Bob Grant was a cranky dark god (" Why dont you go gargle with razor blades") Art Bell used to( and might still) rule the night. Not to mention Jay Diamond, and Stern from 15 years ago.

I loved ed, dre and lisa g. It was so new to me because I had never heard a diverse cast of people talking on the radio much.

anyone remember listening to Lovephones??? yeah i know Lovelines came first but i can't stand listening to it, i never liked the TV show either. Dr. Judy and Chris jagger blew Adam carolla and Dr. drew out of the water. Back in '95 or '96 it was the only radio show i ever liked.

Oh my god, I'm too old for old school. Did anybody out here ever hear Jean Shepard? I use to listen with the transistor radio under my pillow ("you've got school in the morning go to bed") He was just an amazing story teller.

When i moved to DC in 98 i started listening to the greaseman erry morning. He was hilarious to a 12 year old, and i vividly remember hearing him make the infamous comment about lauren hill's cd. "I guess THATS why they drag them behind trucks"

Howard, Greaseman (DC101 days), Weasel, Cerphe, Kirk Mark and Lopez.

Thank you Ron and Fez for finally being live in DC again.
Ok let's get the boys back live in NY. Don't give up the fight.

I used to listen to the Z-morning zoo when I was a kid. Then Ed, Lisa, & Dre' came on with the roll call(What's up y'all, whatcha got to say, who's on the phone with Ed, Lisa, & Dre') They also a song for there producer AL everyday. Then I got tired of listening to rap. So I went with Stern in the morning but Lovelines was Awesome Dr. Judy ruled. Then I got addicted to O & A, Then Ron & Fez. Now i am stuck listening to Cane & Cabbie, also that jackass Maze play the same music over and over again on K-Rock. Please somebody bring back R & F and O & A.

Ahem, since this is "old school" [adjusts tie] I'm gonna throw Larry Glick from WBZ Boston out there.
Then there was Tommy Curtis' "Music for Enlightened Heads" show
and Dino Del Gatto
