i always thought it was slow for me. its 1:42 according to my computer clock. im gonna see when it says i posted. and compare. i'm confident that it will say 1:42 though.

ok by the time i hit the reply button it switched to 1:43. but the clock is right. hooray for the clock. go clock.

download a copy of tardis from tucows.com and your computer clock will be set to an atomic clock on a regular basis.

The U.S. Naval Observatory serves as the official source of time for the Department of Defense and the standard of time for the United States. The atomic clock timescale of the Observatory is based on an ensemble of cesium-beam frequency standards and hydrogen masers.

I've noticed that the time seems to come from when you click on REPLY orginally to post the message, not after you're done typing it and click on "Reply to Topic". If it takes a while to write up what you say, you'll be "behind".

As for setting the computer clock, I use Dimension 4 with Chapel Hill's atomic clock. I find my computer will deviate about 5 seconds per week.
