This thread was meant for me!! I'm always noticing things in movies. Once I point them out, start looking for them. You will see that I'm pretty much, dead on! Pardon me if I get carried away.
The streets are ALWAYS wet, but it is NEVER raining!(usually at night, but this happens during the day quite a bit as well)
If a scene is shot outside (or made to look like it was shot outside) there is always some steam in the backround. A manhole cover....a subway station....construction....there's always SOMETHING!!
BLUE LIGHTS. In many movies, they wash every night time scene in wacky blue lighting. James Cameron is especially guilty of this one. T2 and Titanic look like they were shot on friggin' Pluto!!
Why is there always a half broken neon light blinking somewhere when characters are in "the bad part of town"?!
If someone coughs....they die of natural causes later in the movie!
Music is always added later to a scene. If characters are at a night club, take note that the extras behind them are never dancing in time to anything....including each other!! (this rule does not apply in a movie that is actually about dancing, i.e CENTER STAGE or SAT NIGHT FEVER etc etc)
After a gun is fired, it would be too hot to grab from anywhere but the handle. You could not grab it by the barrel or tuck it into your pants.
No one ever has (or mentions) morning breath!!
I've never seen anyone carrying any kid of pooper scooper or plastic baggies when they walk their dogs! Awful lot of crapping dogs in these romantic comedies. Not a lot of clean-up! Screw you, Meg Ryan!!
And finally...in my entire life, I have NEVER seen that perfect bag of groceries with the Bagette and the celery/parsley carefully protruding from the top of the bag. (and don't forget the two perfect oranges that don't roll away when your wacky unknown lover clumsily knocks the bag out of your hands while walking her god damned dogs)

People outrunning explosions or rushing water. Where are these people during the Olympics? <P>

single shots that kill - too many to pick 1
people who walk away from rolled cars - Fast and the Furious
rescue/resolution with seconds left on the clock - too numerous to pick one
falling off of buildings/mountains/etc for more than 15 feet and being able to grab on - Die Hard
life/personality changing events - Kindergarten Cop

When characters take a bullet in the thigh and keep going, or it's just a a scratch on the arm. If you get hit by a bullet in the leg, you're going down.
Fuck Disneyland. I'm going to Betty Ford!

If there's a scene in a bar/club nobody ever pays for a drink.
I don't like pits, pits, pits, in my juice, juice, juice!

In shootem ups Ive noticed that the hero never reloads his gun or runs out of bullets.
Just keeps shooting
(Most evident in Indiana Jones series)

Whenever a group of guys try to kick te heros ass, they never all just rush him at once and beat the shit out of him. They always go one at a time.
Now follow me on this one. People always see themselves in flashbacks. IMPOSSIBLE!!! If the flashback is done from your perspetive, everything would be a POV shot damn it!!!
