What's with WNEW interns? I have never been an intern. but it seems like a lot of people, from what I hear on the air at WNEW, don't like interning. What's so difficult about interning?

My guess is they're college students, and more than likely never listened to WNEW before they worked there. They just want to be on the radio, and I'm fairly sure that working at a talk radio station is far more demanding than a station that plays "Blink 182" 6 times every hour. So they just want to be lazy and quit or get fired after a few days in the hopes they'll get a job at KROCK or something similar.

We, however, who would gladly sacrifice our anuses to Fez so he may do what he pleases with it, aren't communication majors, so we're just listeners. Simple as that.

Heyyy!!

a) I LOVE interning.
b) Many interns have had some considerable experience.
c) I've ben listening to WNEW for over 2 years. That's why I applied. I could care less whether or not i'm on the air. Just really wanted to work for Ron and Fez.

But I appreciate your concern.

Actually I am 'Hippie in a Hockey Shirt' and I can prove it. I like interning for Ron and Fez. They have been nothing but nice to me and Neil. They rib us a little bit, but it comes with the internship.

But calling out of work on your first week? That's not good! :)

Well, then that other man must be Neill. So, theoretically, we could plot Ron and Fez's murder with two insiders and they'd be none the wiser...who'd expect the Hippie? No one expects the Hippie

Well, I'd like to be the first to start a BACKLASH on all WNEW interns! Especially Hippie in a hockey shirt because, well, he wears hockey shirts!

Having met the Hippie in a Hockey shirt I can tell you that he seems like a very nice guy with a great sense of humor.

Neil also seemed nice if a bit exasperated with the ribbing he got from calling in sick (from Shea Stadium). That last part is pure conjecture. Heh Heh.
