Okay so every morning I wake up listening to Elivs Duran & The ZMorning zoo (go ahead, mock me if you wish!) and this morning they announced this was "summer song weekend" (insert the wacky horn here!)

Anyways they're replaying all the "big summer hits" from summers past. This morning they played "Summer Girls" by LFO (the most rearted assinine band ever. I think they need to be sent to the gas chamber, stat!! I can't stand this insanity! Look at these terrible lyrics sung by white guys trying to be black by prounouncing words wrong (i.e.style to "stoyle" wtf, shut you retard!) Anyways I offer the absolutley inane lyrics to their song as proof that it was both written and sung by complete monoloid retarts. Seriously, a five year old could have penned these!

Funny thing is earlier this winter (like in February or March) I was at a party at a bar with the Fabulous Ally Dudley and I met the blonde guy from LFO, i should have told him when I had the chance that his song blew goats for quarters, but by tiem I got drunk enough, he had left. Damn!

Rich Cronin has left the "band" and started his own thing. The new tunes actually have a live drummer and TWO guitar players. I wont tell you the name of the new band just yet. I'll see if a "they suck" thread starts aboot his new band first.

I do have one question though. Why do people think that LFO lyrics suck the dong, but Nirvana lyrics are amazing. I mean....

Personally, I couldn't stand either, and I don't think there's any one musical genre that notoriously have good lyrics, it goes from band to band. I'll only listen to the ones with music I can listen to and Lyrics I can sing, and beleive in what they mean. Queensryche comes to mind... (well, except I can't sing like Geof Tate without popping a few organs)
