I dont want to say it but i miss al dukes. It was funny picking on him and made the show more lively. Now it seems every time i tune in its another billy staples crisis. If i wanted to listen to that shit everynight id be a foster parent to a 13 year old crackhead. I have been turning the dial more often lately and now it seems i turn the show off nightly. Ive been listening to them for a long time. i remember the ron and ron show in florida and when they did the midnight shift here. I need something to keep me tuning in

as sure as al provided comic relief, he was also a nuisance, and a downright awful person. just listening to that song parody with him and freddy(or friday, or frighty) fright shows how cold-hearted he was. and of course, it was revealed today that al was also a rat. good riddance.

Move on! Ron and Fez are great because they change up their characters annually. Al Dukes was fun to laugh at, but what more could they have done with him? Having fresh blood on the show is important, and Ron and Fez are always trying to keep the show moving forward. Al Dukes, Joe Poo, Godzilla, Dumpy, etc, were funny, FOR AWHILE. Let's not forget that Ron and Fez are the stars of the show; not their producers. No offense, but if you find yourself turning the station, repeatedly, because you don't like what the bit is, then you are not a true Ron and Fez fan.

Oh, by the way, which one's pinky?

i dunno, i mean, al was quite the nerd, but just listening to the "ron and fez comedy showcase" in the afternoons here and there make me remember how funny he was. from the day of the infamous five pumps story to the drunken friday nites, al dukes was alway making the listeners laugh. i wonder if maybe he was exploring other offers, or something, when he and and mr. hamptons fought...i honestly think so, and if he wasn't, i wish he won....little mister incompetent (sp?) isn't funny at all. sigh.

Listeners weren't laughing because Al made them; Ron and Fez made the listeners laugh because of, and often in spite of, Al's actions. As pinkyfloyd said a couple of posts ago, they are the stars of the show.

My answer to the question is an emphatic no.

No, I don't miss him. Actually, I thought he was somewhat arrogant at times on the show, i.e., the way he treated Ice Cream Girl, the way he would put down Joe Poo about Joe's delivering pizzas, the way he treated women in general ("that noone was good enough for him), and his constant "masters degree" stuff was really annoying.

He was very much a square peg in a round hole there.

I miss Al and I don't think the show has been as good since he left. His Interaction with Gay Randy, matty fridays, etc ect was classic stuff especially towards the end when he started losing his mind. Ron and Fez these days is less entertaining without him they tried to build up wild thing but that really didnt work out. Personally I hope they bring Al back.

with those interacts is a small percent inwhich Dukes actually helped the show. Most of the time it seem to bring the show down

what bits that Al was involved bought the show down? Most of the time he was entertaining. Ron and Fez havent really found anything to replace his departure with. Instead of big ass night of fights three with all the heat behind Al which would make for weeks of good radio as a build up theyre doing rock and ribs which might be good as an event but as a radio bit it's boring.

I like ice cream girl she can have the mad mongo to do anything she likes what did she see in dukes

The main reason that I miss Al is because Ron no longer says my board name for the instant feedbacks. Now the poor listening schlubs have to decipher what "ADF" stands for when they hear a quality instant feedback.

Yes, I miss Al Dukes. Face it, many fans do. Even Ron & Fez sound a bit of regret by Al's departure.

Hi all...Traveler here...New to the boards but love the show and I am thoroughly glad that Al is gone...his monotone mr.know it all guise and lack of a credible sense of humor was such a downer....the only time he was funny, in my opinion of course, was when he was being put down for stuff he would not admit too but he was rude and obnoxious to alot of the regulars....It almost seemed to me like he always had this "my ***t doesnt stink because of my masters)" way about him......

dead to the show, dead to the board...moderators, please lock all al dukes thread. he is a non-topic until he's back on the show.
